DESCRIPTION:
Ansonia Clock Co., C.1895, Royal Bonn, "LA CALLE" porcelain china cased clock, with 8-day, gong strike mov't with open escapement on porcelain dial, in white case with light blue accents and gold highlights.
CONDITION:
overall excellent original condition. Mov't has turned slightly in case. Porcelain dial is good and there are no chips nor breaks in case. The La Calle is a hard to find model, and appears in Ly's Ansonia book, page 629 as a photo listing from the Sebelberg collection. 2004 price guide = $1100. Ht 14"
